Analgin Quinine 

{Pain Relief / Against Temperature and Headache} 

★Sopharma’s Analgin Quinine is a non-prescription drug used to reduce fever; responding to mild to moderate pain of different origins: headache, toothache, neuralgia, neuritis, myalgia, trauma, burns, postoperative pain, renal and biliary colic and pain in oncological diseases. 

★Composition in 1 tablet:

Active ingredient: Metamizole Sodium 200 mg, quinine hydrochloride 50 mg.

The other ingredients are: povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate; silica, colloidal anhydrous; talc, magnesium stearate. Film coating (rub green): polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, quinoline yellow (E104), brilliant blue (E133).

The active substance is metamizole sodium, which refers to painkillers (analgesics). At the same time, it also has a temperature-reducing effect.

★Indications for use:

- moderate or mild pain syndrome (including headache, toothache, migraine, neuralgia, arthralgia, myalgia, radicular pain, algodismenorrhea);

- pain and fever in acute viral and bacterial diseases of the upper respiratory tract, as well as other infectious and inflammatory diseases;

- renal and biliary colic (in combination with antispasmodics);

- fever of various origins.

★Method of application and doses:

For adults, the drug is prescribed 1-2 tablets 1-3 times a day, depending on the clinical picture.  The maximum single dose is 5 tablets, daily - 12 tablets.  Children aged 6-10 years are prescribed 1 tablet 2 times a day;  children aged 10-14 years - 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.  The duration of the drug is no more than 5 days.  An increase in the daily dose or duration of use of the drug is possible only under the supervision of a doctor.
